A New York Times Editorial Board Member Mara Gay was on MSNBC’s Morning Joe, spouting in typical Liberal Fashion about a trip that she had been on to Long Island this past weekend. According to the article , this woman, in the middle of a bigger conversation about the January 6 Capitol Riot, she decided to tell a story about a trip to Long Island. “I was on Long Island this weekend and visiting a really dear friend and I was really disturbed. I saw you know, dozens and dozens of pick-up trucks with expletives against Joe Biden on the back of them, Trump flags, and in some cases just dozens of American flags which, you know, is also just disturbing because essentially the message was clear. It was: ‘This is my country, this is not your country, I own this.” I am not sure where this woman came up with this, but it must be nice to live in a fictional land. I am not sure about the rest of you American Flag loving and respecting good people feel, but I am deeply disturbed by this woman’s generalities about people who like to fly the American Flag. Ms. Gay needs to understand that most believe that flying an American Flag is a way to show your support for America and is a way to be patriotic. Maybe Liberals and Democrats should learn this.
This woman, during her conversation about the January 6 Capitol Riot said that she believes that Trump voters feel “their rights as citizens are under threat by simple virtue of having to share democracy with others” and see “Americanness as whiteness.” I guess this belief is from all the years of brainwashing that the Liberal and Democrat side of politics. See what really gets me is that it was all ok, out in the mid-west when people who claim to be suffering from racism, decided to riot in the streets, burn down business’, take government buildings and entire neighborhood’s hostage, and even kill innocent people who had nothing to do with what they are rioting against. This is all ok.
What even makes me disgusted with Liberals and Democrats, is that they are quick to judge people who love America, but for four long years we had to put up with almost every night we heard nothing but nightly attacks on a President. You really cannot make this up. Such hypocrisy coming from the Liberal and Democrat side of politics.
