We provide Instruction on Firearm Use and Safety Courses, defending the Second Amendment and Advocating for the Conservation of wildlife and wildlife habitat in the United States. We also empower individuals with the confidence to keep themselves and their families safe.
I just took the basic pistol course in late September (2022). It could not have been a better experience. Tom, who has 30+ years of LE experience, is a great teacher and, BTW, an amazing marksman. Ours was a small group with some prior experience and Tom tailored the course to our skills – or lack thereof! The course was very informal but comprehensive with plenty of back and forth discussion. Safety was paramount. When I was unable to attend the scheduled range portion, Tom, amazingly, made time for a solo session at another range. Tom’s approach beats the heck out of any larger, less flexible offerings. I could not recommend the course highly enough.

They are greatly appreciated and would like give our student’s the best experience and want to make sure that our student’s leave our classes with all of the appropriate firearms safety knowledge to not only be very safe shooters but also to enjoy the shooting sports. We also want our student’s to feel as part of our group. Just because a class has ended , in our eyes we do not want the relationship to end. Tom was a great instructor, and was really willing to go the extra mile to ensure we understood all of the information taught in the class, and were able to operate a pistol in a safe manner.

I’m looking for a beginner hunting safety course for my grandson in southern Louisiana an at what age can he take the course, I know in Tennessee they can take it starting at 8yrs of age. Can anyone tell me.
First off we would like to thank you for contacting us. We are based in New Jersey, but we were able to track down an answer for you. The answer we found is: “The minimum age for Hunter Education Certification in Louisiana is 10 years old. However, it is required 10 and 11 year-olds be supervised while hunting, even if they have received Hunter Education Certification. Youth younger than 10 years old may take the course, but they are not eligible to be certified and will have to retake the course to obtain certification when they reach 10 years of age or older.” We did find this on the internet on the Louisiana Government Website at this address: “http://www.wlf.louisiana.gov/hunting/hunter-education.” We hope that this information answers your question. Hello, I completed the course two years ago and lost my certification paper is there any way to get my hands on another?

That is assuming that you still have that information.
