NEW JERSEY RESILIENCY PROGRAM FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT:
In 2019, the Attorney General of New Jersey instituted Attorney General Directive 2019-1, the New Jersey Resiliency Program for Law Enforcement (NJRP-LE.) This program was designed to assist Law Enforcement Officers with a confidental , statewide program to combat job related challenges and emotional stresses. The program also created Resillency Program Officers, (RPO’s) trained to assist officers in need. These officers can be used by any police dpeartment within the state to assist any officer in need. A statewide group of officers have been trained throughout the state from different departments to ensure coverage of the entire state.
The program offers officers confidential support to utilize a safe space for officers to seek help for both personal and professional stresses. The program is a statewide program that offers access all over New Jersey to any officer to utilize any police agency with an RPO. The Resliliency Program strives to help strengthen and sustain the emotional and mental health of officers who cope with the rigors of the profession.
We hope to be able to expand this program outside the state of New Jersey and offer this great program to any law enforcement/military department. Currently we have one certified instructor but are actively looking for other instructors to improve our ability to accommodate any department that would like to provide this amazing program to their officers.
Any interested departments/units should inquire about pricing and availability. The course is a 2-day course of about 8 hours per day. We try to keep the number of student/officers to no more than 12. Anyone having any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at your earliest convenience.
