Democrats already at it in Virginia, wake up!!

Virginia house of Delegates passes sweeping gun control legislation!

We have been professing for quite some time now how anti-gun Democrats are. Well, as we have been saying all along, the Democrats are already starting in Virginia to promote their gun-control laws to take guns away from law-abiding American Citizens.

In November 2019, the Democrats won control of both houses of the state legislature for the first time since 1994. This past Tuesday, the Virginia House of Delegates passed gun-control legislation that bans the sale of certain semi-automatic rifles and makes anyone who possess a magazine holding more than 12 rounds a felon. The bill also requires any owner of a semi-automatic rifle it classifies as an “assault weapon,” to include “AR-15 rifles,” register the firearm with the government authorities by 2021. It also makes silencers illegal. Now I don’t now about you, but this is not what the Second Amendment is all about. Our Four Fathers wanted the people to be able to possess and own firearms to protect themselves not only from criminals, but it’s government too. We do not want some bureaucrat who knows nothing about firearms making decisions for me what types of firearms we should be able to own and those that we are not allowed to own. Now these Democrats, in conjunction with the Democratic governor Ralph Northam, are attempting to pass a whole slue of liberal laws on gun-control. They are not only stopping there though. They also want to control abortion and other issues.

The only possible saving grace is that the Senate has previously failed to enact an “assault weapons ban.” Maybe there is still hope. Make no mistake about it, the Democrats are already trying to pursue even more gun-control, even though statistics prove gun-control does not keep firearms out of the hands of criminals.
