It amazes us just how ignorant people can be. We have always prided ourselves in researching a particular topic before speaking about it. Obviously not everyone feels the need to do so. We have included a link below from you tube where a reporter/network professes to demonstrate how much damage an AR-15 (as her and News Outlet call the firearm used,) when it is actually a pump-action semi-automatic shotgun. You ask how we can tell this? Well, the answer is easy, we know about firearms. We have been around firearms for the better part of 30 years. Not only that, but if you click on the link below and watch the last second or two of the actual video, you will the “shotgun shell” which is ejected out of the ejection port. For those who believe that we do not know what we are talking about, please judge for yourselves. The first picture you see below diagrams the difference between a shotgun shell, a rifle cartridge and a .22 rimfire cartridge. The shotgun shell is on the left side of the picture and the rifle cartridge is in the center. Now, please look at the link of the video below and you tell us what you think.
NBC demonstrates how much damage a AR-15 can do to a watermelon!
Now why would a network and a reporter report on something that they know nothing about, and refuse to not research the topic. This to me does not seem like responsible reporting. If this is the way the network wants it news reported, maybe we should all sit back and think about how much of what they report that we actually believe. You judge for yourselves. This is just one example of how our news media only tells the general public what they want them to hear. It is not that hard to actually find the truth, if you want to.
